About I MATH MENTOR

After many years of working with students in both school and private tutorial settings, I have seen first-hand the different challenges that can make students struggle with and even dislike mathematics. Some students lacked confidence because they found certain concepts difficult, while others simply needed more time, practice, clearer explanations, or the right resources to understand what they were learning. Through years of working closely with students, I discovered that with consistent practice, appropriate guidance, and well-designed learning resources, many students could gradually overcome these difficulties, improve their skills, and develop a more positive attitude towards mathematics. This experience became the inspiration behind I MATH MENTOR—an educational platform created from resources I have personally developed and refined through my years of teaching experience, with the aim of helping students learn more confidently, practise effectively, and make meaningful progress.

Over the past 12 years, I have worked with students aged 8–17 across both British and American curricula, in school environments as well as through private tutoring and academic support. I have worked with students with different learning needs, abilities, and levels of confidence, including IGCSE students preparing for their examinations. These experiences have given me a deeper understanding of the areas where students commonly struggle and the type of support that can help them make real progress.

These experiences inspired me to take the resources and teaching approaches that had proven effective with my students and develop them into practical, engaging, and student-friendly digital learning resources. I personally create and develop the materials offered by I MATH MENTOR, including mathematics worksheets, workbooks, study materials, and IGCSE revision packs, with a focus on clear explanations, step-by-step examples, focused practice, useful formulas, and helpful learning tips.

The purpose of these resources is to give students the opportunity to practise consistently, reinforce what they have learned, identify areas they need to improve, and gradually build confidence in mathematics. I believe that improvement does not happen overnight—it comes through understanding, regular practice, perseverance, and having access to the right resources.

While mathematics is at the heart of I MATH MENTOR, I also believe that education should help young learners develop qualities that extend beyond academic achievement. This is why I also create reading materials that encourage character development, positive attitudes, resilience, responsibility, and personal growth for younger learners.

Ultimately, I MATH MENTOR was created to share the knowledge, experience, and resources developed through years of working with students, making quality learning materials more accessible to students who want to strengthen their skills and become more confident learners.

My goal is simple: to make learning more accessible, meaningful, and encouraging—one resource at a time.
